Bobcat dog semen?
I know a lot of guys east of the Mississippi who have nice registered hounds collect and store semen. I hear about a number of dogs that are top notch when it comes to treeing/catching bobcat in the western states. I am curious, do any of you guys, who have really nice bobcat dogs in PNW, collect an...

Re: Kidney failure
Let’s add another dimension to this subject..... what about pets or non working dogs? Are they dying from kidney failure as often? Just off the top of my head I’d say not nearly as often. I use the same meds (chemicals) on both at my house.

Re: Cold trail surprises
Great story. Thanks for sharing. Got a question for you and or the other cat hunters reading this. Let’s say you got to the cameras early in the morning, could you have got the dogs turned around and jumped the cat that came through there two days earlier? Just asking. I’m not a cat hunter and I’ve ...

Re: Az High desert
Maybe there would be ,Mark. Take a look at modern bred coondog as well as running dogs. The night hunt and running dog trials have transformed many breeds. If your gonna compete, you gotta have the type dog that can win, they breed for that dog. In a night hunt no points are given for a dog’s abilit...

I couldn’t agree more. Tell me about your dogs and what you like to see in a bobcat dog.

Re: Stubborn pup
Mike, you’re on the money with your last reply. Many times we forget that in order to get a desired response from the ecollar , we need to teach them what to do when they get the “stimulation “. This is best done at home in a controlled environment not in a hunting situation. Just my two bits worth. ...

Re: BobCat patterns on a Garmin?
Further note, Fred said most of the dogs were black/tan colored not tricolored. Most fox dogs were tricolored in this area in those days. ????????? Mule man, I got a call a few months ago from a deer hunter who had a dog that was quitting good deer races to run cat. He said he’d give him to me. I w...

BioSensor stimulation in pups
I read a topic on here on puppy sensory stimulation awhile back. In this topic was a mention of a sixth step which was scent stimulation. I can’t find it in “search “. Can anyone help please.

Re: Dog food
We only feed raw meat when it has been frozen or freezing outside. With fresh meat you won't have a worm problem but any questionable meat should be cooked. Unless you have a ton of dogs to feed a Presto pressure cooker can be used and run thru on 35 minute cycle and you can bag it up ahead of time...
