Re: Attention Colorado Lion Hunters
I'm sure this won't make any friends, but if they outlawed the outfitting and left everything else alone it would get my vote.

Colorado
I have heard rumor that dog hunting in Colorado is going on tha ballot. If so this is not a good thing for this wannabe California acting state. Hope it's not true, if it is my guess is it will pass.

Re: Alpha compass
I'm not sure if electromagnetic field is the problem. I usually walk with the dogs so I am not anywhere near the truck. I brought my garmin 450 with me today because I can't trust the alpha but it was turned off the whole time until I needed to get back. I did notice the 450 would bounce every time ...

Alpha compass
Checking to see if anyone else has this problem. The compass on my alpha seems to always be pointing the wrong direction. I have calibrated the compass numerous times and it's still wrong. The dog compass is usually off by 90 degrees the distance to the dogs is good though. The compass to get back t...

Re: Lion season
Good luck with this. If I had my way guideing for cats would be illegal. I also wish bobcats were worth about a nickel . I know most won't like this but it's the way I feel about it. How much pride can you have in killing a cat someone else's dogs caught? Kind of like shooting elk behind the tall fe...

free feeding
I am wondering if anyone is free feeding their hounds. If so how is it working and how long did it take for them to start eating normal?

Re: Houndsmen
I hope no one ever refers to me as a hounds men. All the self proclaimed hounds men I know leave their dogs on a chain 9 months a year, feed half a cup of old Roy twice a week and own most of the blm and all of the forest.

Re: Garmin tt15
I have one tt15. I turned off the bark detection on the alpha so I can't say if it works. You might check to see if it is turned on on the handheld. I turn off dog type and all the other alerts I can they just don't work for me

Dog compass on alpha
I have been running 3 tt10 collars for the last few years. I recently added a 4th collar a tt15. My question is I can only see three collars at one time on the compass and map page, is this normal?
