Conerager

If anyone has any pics of any pups from Conerager please send them to me !! I know of a few that were in North Carolina being used a bear dogs at one point. I am working on a gift for Mr. Gary Martin, that owned Conerager before he passed away and I am trying to get as many pics of Conerger's pups ...

Bluetick Pedigree Info

I picked up, of all things, a three year old male blue dog yesterday afternoon. He's already running and treeing and just needs to be hunted. I know nothing of bluetick bloodlines though, so yall tell me what you think and what exactly I have gotten myself into! I read in the bluetick issue of ...

I am undecided on my opinion on Bigfoot. There is alot of evidence that says that there, and alot of common sense that says there's not. I am however, open to the idea of one. I think there are alot of things in this world left to be discovered, on land and in the water. Scientist were skeptical of ...

We have a neutered male Walker and it hasnt effected him one bit from what i can tell. He is good natured and does great with pups. He was neutered because he got jumped by coyotes and that was the only way to save him. He still goes hard and hunts well, he's just gained alot of weight !

Thanks for your advice, I will be sure to try it sometime. Yes, our Clover bred dogs look alot like hers. I think I have posted to her somewhere on here how much they resemble each other. I have thought it was a death march many a night but so far I have made it out!! Thanks for the comment on my ...

Depends on where and what dogs we're hunting. Most of the time we stay at the truck and wait for them to tree and either drive closer or walk in depending where they are. If we happen to be hunting a young dog or one just starting out, we kinda follow behind as to get in there asap. The terrain ...

I wondered if this happened to other people too! Its like when you make a turn out and tree, you gotta do it again. And before you know it, it's 2 am and your soaked and you should have stopped after the second, or even third, but you had to be brave and try again !!

I think you should let a pup be a pup for a while longer because its gonna be an adult dog forever when it grows up. I would start teaching some basic obediance and manners (like come, no, heel, load up in the truck) and do alot of socializing around other people, places, and dogs, and alot of ...

I just sold a 14 month old male Walker yesterday that had Pac Man breeding in him. He was a nice little hound, big unique mouth. We have three dogs out of Conerager, he is heavy Clover bred, and two are good solid coondogs. I have never heard of Clipper, only the Lipper dogs which I have been told ...

Yeah, he will leave when treed by himself because most of the time that's how he trees. He doesnt like running with other dogs, even others that we own and he knows well. He has always been an independent hunting dog, even when he was young and we tried to run him with a pup trainer. He will trail ...

I will prob stick to coons with our dogs, it was just a thought the other day since we had a blood trail and I know Copper can trail very well. I really think Copper has what it takes to be a good coondog, he's just frustrating. He's a little over a year old and he will tree his own coon, has done ...

Copper has what it takes to be a good dog, he's just frustrating sometimes. We dont have alot of good places to hunt him, because he needs a different kind of handling in the woods so I dont take him as much. I've heard they can be taught to run several types of game though, I've just never tried to ...
