Re: My experience with Double U Graphics
Nothing has changed. They've just gotten bigger due to continuing the top notch customer service and best pricing. Recently bought my third system (alpha) and just had a bad thing turned good warranty claim with them (destroyed a alpha handheld, my fault) Can't recommend them enough. Support the guy...

Re: Breaking hounds of barking at squirrels
Mine will trash on a pine marten from time to time... they say if they can trail a pine marten they have a good nose... Would you not chase a bug if it came in your house ? Squirrels are a bug in their house... doesn't matter they need to have fun too. If they left a bear or a cat for a squirrel THE...

Fish carcasses will help them find it. After that its just up to you to keep an offering good enough to come back. Oats in molases, like a cobb mix, cheaper than dogfood and sweeter...

Re: How many people do this ?
I have one that trees better when I am not there. Trees fine when I am but after thinking about this and watching the transition over the years, I firmly believe he knows that what is in that tree is MINE and he gets less intense on the tree once I arrive.
He must know his job is done.

Re: tenderfeet?
My dog houses have torch-on on the roofs and I have a few wood platforms for them to lay on and hang out on in their pen with the same thing... Seems to help.

Re: Broken toe on left hind foot
One of mine got bit in the rear foot by a bear and broke his second toe in from the outside. It took quite a while to heal and sure enough he broke it again this winter but it seems to have fused real well now, probably stronger than it was to begin with. He was favouring it the first time but it di...

Re: 2012 lion season coming to a end
Thats quite the race... 15 Lions and they're still trashing on anything that crosses their path, sounds like quite the handful.

Re: HD 120
I don't see what the problem is here. He knows where there is a big tom hanging out, most if not all houndsmen receive tips from people in the bush and appreciate the thought. I would imagine he sees a lot of dink cats come in and if there is somebody with that tag in that area that MIGHT be conside...

Nice video!
Would have liked to see the vid part when the one dog flanked the cat though, looks like it could have been pretty western.

Awesome action shots.... we can barely see them in the tree half the time let alone during the race.

Re: Your best hound you ever had
I'll play, havent been around near as long as most, wish I started earlier but this is my top dog Harlo in the blue collar. Despite a rookie myself not long ago how he (they) powered through my mistakes to do what they do now gives me the utmost appreciation and respect for them. From near drownings...
