Re: take updates off?

Beside the long pause time when starting a new hunt (which is fine) I have noticed it take's MUCH longer to link up with some of my dogs when I let them out of the box.

2015 Can/Am At It Again

Keith rolled up about 11:00am, we dropped his pack at around noon, got plenty of clips of the hare. Richard rolled up around 2, dropped two each again around 5:30 but dogs managed to find a porky so we caught up and figured tomorrow would be a better day...LOL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHpxiP...

Re: take updates off?

Is there a way to take previous updates off? The last update I did seems to have slowed down my alpha. When I zoom in an out too fast now the maps go blank and when I "start new hunt" there is a long hesitation when it asks if I want to clear previous hunt info. I just updated mine a week...

Re: 3/10/15 Cold, Crust, Then Slush

That lead dog, the one that seems to keep out straight has a helluva note to him. Branko? The Grandsire on the sires side has Branko on the top side, bottom side Greenbay, with a little influence of UBGF blood. I would say me and my partner have been breeding inside of our own kennel's long enough ...

3/10/15 Cold, Crust, Then Slush

Last few days have been a mixed bag of about everything, dog's lack of being able to keep pressure on the hare has made it difficult to get any video. This is all I've been able to manage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2S4RkVmu_HA http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n202/hounddogger/Snapshot%202%20...

Re: Temporary paralysis

I've had chp in hounds and terrier's, both times in was a week or more after contact with the coon. Also have a terrier that has paralysis symptoms after working game and a beagle that got it while running. Without testing my vet mentioned sugar. If it was chp trust me your dog wouldn't have been on...

TT10 Collar issues

I have one collar out of 8 that is giving me fits, it always seems to turn on fine, always stays connected, shows good battery. When I go to shut it off after a couple hours of running I have to press down hard on the power button with a small object to shut it down, one time the light turned red an...

Can/Am Combined

Went up for a few days of running with Keith in Ontario, had a good time and his family treated me as family. Thanks Bro.

Re: Chest Packs

Make sure you get them in 3xl..LOL. I have been looking for one to carry radio, garmin, maybe a slim phone pocket, and video camera. My wife sewed a pocket on my carhart insulated vest for my garmin but now that I've switched to the longer antenna it pokes me in the face at times. She sewed in elast...

Re: cures for over-running the track???

The biggest move I have made to make my pack better as a whole was to decrease the speed and competitiveness. At one point I thought speed killed cats....now I say track accuracy. Think the same with my beagles. One thing I have noticed that the tendency to over run tracks and being mouthy show at a...

Re: Garmin Virb Action Camera

I was looking at one for videoing hare in runways when the hounds are running them, have seen video's of the cameras on dogs and they just look to herky jerky for me. Buddy have you tried the remote for the virb? Everything I seen is for 30 feet but if that's it I'll by a tt15 and just hang it in a ...
