Sorry about be off so long but I see u all have ideas for me the main thing I was thinking was for a dog that would not be cut up taking care of a shot or trapd fox or coon let alone a coyot or bobcat I am looking more to the gun dog but need a know if any of them can hold their own if needed be

I know that what I have read but I got to thinking a few dogs if they are one like black mouth curs or blue lacy dogs that don't open up until they are just about on top of one should bay up faster then hounds that open up soon as they got something at last that what I was thinking what would you al...

sorry man what I was try to say I had read were decoy dogs would go out to a coyote hlow and get them to run after the decoy dog to bring them to the hunter and i was say from what i read a decoy dog would not work because we hunt in the winter and they only work in the spring but it got me to think...

thinks you all the only time we can do it in the winter I know fawn in distress and rabbit are the big ones I don't know if spot n stalk hunting would do for us because the land is a lot of trees and cover just wanted to ask the one that do it what do you look for in a setup

hey you all what to see what you all would think about something that came to me when I was reading about decoy dogs they were talking about teaching the dogs to go to a coyote holw I don't think a decoy dog would work for us because the land we hunt is not that open and we mostly hunt for furs and ...

I have no dout that the dog could find a coyote bedded my only thing would be would the coyote stay bedded to get a shot or would it run from the dog or go after the dog I don't know but it would be a cool way if it could worke

from what I have read they don't open up on game until they get close and see it I would think a coyote would not have a lot of time to get ahead of the dogs and would have to bay up
