Re: Lime sulfur solution for feet?

Use a little common sense here . lime is mild enough in its dry form. But not something you put on live moist tissue. Chlorine or bleach or what ever magic combination of the two. Will eat a horse hoof much less dogs feet. The only possible explanation for that being passed around is a VERY dilute m...

Re: Dogs trashing on jumped coyotes

Sometimes you get one coyote or a pair that are in the wrong spot and just wont leave things be. I had a pair den up in a side canyon from one of the main trails we had to use. Just had to go in and shoot them . just take some younger dogs in and chain them then get around to were you can shoot with...

Re: Given up on Facebook

Facebook is like most of the internet. Full of misinformation and stupidity. It has only reinforced two things. If someone is recording you stop what ever you are doing and immediately leave the area. If you have no idea what your talking about stop talking. You follow those two rules you may mainta...

Re: Issues on track

If he is leaving it at the tree thats a different issue from quiting a track or not being confident enough to keep working it. Figure out which issue it is. Try daytime hunting for awhile and stay close enough to observe the dog

Re: Majestic information

Well. First ive seen some successful coon hounds with a high percentage of bloodhound. And some lion hounds. I have heard that in the northeast slower track dogs work for their method of bobcat hunting. But in most of the areas ive hunted bobcats have to be trailed at agood pace or the scent dies to...

Re: Arizona HSUS going after Lion and Bobcat

This shit is all hsus. So unless a "group" is willing to take the lead and start lawsuits against them there is going to be a whole lot less hunting in the state of az. Just like theyve done everywhere else. Its a sad fact they are far more successful with their shit in the western states ...

Red fox

I havent run a red fox in many years and even then it was accidental. I dont remember those chases very clearly so far as specifics go. However my impression was more open ground running and a more straight forward race similar to coyote. Anyway i have a two part question for anyone who runs them. H...

Re: Feet - what's the issue ?

Speed as a bit to do with it. However only on a scale mileage and terrain will lower the speed required substantially. But like was said hunt your dogs day in and out for a month and you will learn more about your dogs then hunting weekends for years. I know most people dont have the time to do this...
