The weatherman assured him that there was no chance of rain in the coming days, So the king went fishing with his wife, the queen. O...

Re: Serious Question!
LOL! If you could smell the track you would not need a dog.! Seriously that happens a lot.when Clyde Miller and Dale Lee were at the BBCHA fall round up years ago, they had a lively discussion going concerning that very thing. no amount of reason why it happens. Dale( and Clell for that matter) both...

Re: Bluetick or Walker?
Happens often in some lines of Blues. it is not the "standard color but it does happen. way back in 1962 I got a female that looked very much like that -- her breeding was close up to Mountain Music Blue Blaze and out of a daughter of Thompson's Radar doubling up the Vaughn's Fly stock. I know ...

Re: Bloodhound Breeder
good luck in your search.. in about 1982 we bought a red bloodhound from some folks in SW New Mexico. the parents were said to be cat hunters. anyway when she matures she was not the overly large, awkward, heavy boned, slow type that you sometimes see. BUT there was no way I could get her to run coo...

Re: Anyone ever?
a good many years ago I had a pup that the eyes did not open when they should (about 10 days) she had a bit od matter in both eyes.. one eye was blind and she did make an exceptional good cooner for the fellow I gave her to-- he was planning on breeding her but some lowlife jerk stole her off the ch...

Re: Wyoming Federation of Houndsmen
Tex Keep up the good work. although I am from Kansas, I see a lot of thought has been put into what you are working on. here in our state, they finally let in out of state hunters and the big money boys from Texas are leasing up much ground for deer hunting --- that is sure putting pressure on the l...

Re: Building a Big Game Pack
in the last 50 years when keeping 2 pups, I kinda feel that almost always one will develop faster than the other.. when you notice that it is time to work them separate.if that works out then you will be ahead in the game. if that one is not working to suit you then you will have the pick for yourse...

Re: 1/4 bloodhound crosses?
Many years ago, like in the 1960"'s-- a very good friend of mine has a female that was 1/4- -1/4 bluetick and 1/2 walker tree dog. she was sure enough Ok on track and tree but if a coyote barked close to her she would be in your feet very quick. from others I seen it appears that a lot depends ...
