Re: Hunting Trucks
Went with a good choice that's what I have. 06 Tacoma extended cab but I have just over 200 thousand on it. Basically all guiding and mountain miles. Has been a dang nice truck had to replace shocks a couple times and blown a few seals but overall its a good truck.

Re: What do you bring to the tree?
I take most of the stuff everyone is talking about really the only other thing I take is para cord. Not very heavy and can use it for a few different things. Someone always seems to forget a leash or two so it makes a easy leash. Tie hides onto backs and doubled it up to pull dogs up ledges.

using dogs for coyote calling
I haven't ever used a dog for calling but I would like to. I saw the dogging coyote videos does anyone train dogs to do that? If so I would be interested in buying one or two. Or if you could help me out with training that would be sweet.

Re: which pack to you reccomend
I use an eberlestock. You can slide your gun down the middle of the pack so your hands are free. And after you kill the pack opens up and you can fit the hide inside your pack. Comfortable and a real nice pack.

Re: I need some help as to how long I should work with a hou
I have only had one dog like this. I got him from a guy that didn't hunt anymore. He was scared to death of me. I would have to grab the chain and drag him to me and he fought every inch of the way. I just spent lots of time being around him so he could get used to me. Once he knew I wasn't going to...
