Re: wondering if f&t rig boxes were good boxes

The ones I have seen look pretty flimsy and I don't think they would hold up to serious abuse...plus the way the are built, you get a really small rig deck.

Re: fencing for kennel??????

I used 4' sheep wire or woven wire and a barb wire strand on top. Ran a hot wire around the bottom for a few months so they wouldn't dig under. after they all got zapped a time or two haven't had any get out.

take updates off?

Is there a way to take previous updates off? The last update I did seems to have slowed down my alpha. When I zoom in an out too fast now the maps go blank and when I "start new hunt" there is a long hesitation when it asks if I want to clear previous hunt info.

Re: when to give up on a hound

Assuming they are old enough (which could anywhere from 6 months to 18) I would give them 10 good opportunities. If they arent showing you something good by then....ditch em

Re: back trailing

If you are laying drags for her, make sure you are running her "backwards" on the drags or you are teaching her to back track......if you are laying your drags from A to B the dog should be running them from B to A. So the scent gets stronger as the dog moves forward.....like in real life....

Re: black and tans on lions in utah?

I know guys running black and tans on lions and jaguars in south america and I know guys running black and tans on lion in northern british columbia. All with success. Course I know guys running walkers in all those places too......in a nutshell, its a can of worms!

Re: Question for you experienced lion hunters

I don't own any of those mythical bobcat dogs, but my lion dogs will sure catch me plenty of bobcats.
