around here it happens often if you don't have a bunch of dogs. The lions have lay in ambush and killed dogs of mine in the past. Hear the hounds lay down behind a blow down and try and kill the first dog. I live in heavy wolf country and I do believe that factors into their behavior.

the pups are just getting old enough to start going. they are 5 months old. The females would need beagle size collars at this point but the boys are just big enough to wear one if they have shock collars on first. We are hammering the lynx right now with catching 1 or more a day. Those litter pups ...

I was talking when you see a cat cross the road in front of you and you get the dogs out of the box and put them on it. Sometimes you have to get em off the road quite a ways before they open and go. I catch more lynx then pretty much anyone but have no experience on bobcat. From what I have seen with other hounds that come here from down south is that bobs have a fair bit more scent then a lynx.
