It sounds like the leopard cur would work for you, I've hunted and bred these dogs for 20 years and they are fast track dogs with good noses on them and they will hunt closer and not range out a 1/2 mile to look for a track, very smart and easy to train or break off unwanted game. WOW, I just sent in 4 magnum collars to be rebuilt and they are better than ever, 45 bucks ea. how do ya beat that. I bought 3 johnson collars a few years ago on the 100$ summer sale and have had issues with them. Kinda like women I guess, ya can't live with them and ya can't live without em.

my answer to this would be the dedication one has for their hounds. Whether you can hunt every day or just a couple days a week. When a person will put those dogs as their priority above all else, except for family of course. If you are going to have hounds they cannot be a hobby like golfing where...
