Re: wormer sugestions
Diamond beef and rice has 338 kcal per cup. You are feeding your dogs only 676 kcal per day. A 50 pound inactive dog needs 700 kcal to just maintain body weight. when you add roading and any parisite draw in it is easy to see that you need to feed more or swicth to a higher protien/fat type of feed....

Re: how to start 3 young blueticks correctly?
I would keep all three and at least start them to see which one has the heart and drive to make you a good dog. If you sell or trade off two you may not get the best one of the three. Odds are only one of the three will make a top shelf type dog that is worth hunting

Re: Question about rigging
Andy do you do rig training with your dogs? Cobalt just gave some very valuable info on rigging dogs and what to do to help them. You may realize that you do not have to drive 1000 miles to rig a cat. on the other hand I would drive 2000 miles to run a cat just for the time and experince spent with ...

Re: Question about rigging
I like Andys answers to all these rigging and cat hunt questions. It keeps all the new comers and some of the old timers sitting at home when there are poor condtions. Jeremy I personally catch more cats now that I have a good rig dog than before I had one. Every year is differant some years I catch...

Re: What Characteristics Make A Fast Bear Dog?
I do not think that you will find anyone that likes to caught game breed for body type only. Don't get me wrong here but i do not know anyone that will breed two dogs because they are the best looking dogs if they lack the ablity to caught game. On the other hand they will breed two okay looking dog...

Every chane i get i slip in and watch. It is on the best way to see for yourself if all the training and ground work you did is showing up or if you need to work on somethings like climbing chewing or digging.

Re: Tree climbing dogs
You sure are not giving them smart, driven, treedogs of yours much credit! Maybe you should rethink how smart those dogs of yours really are or maybe it is not the dogs at all that are lacking just the trainer. I do not have trouble with tree climbing dogs because I break them from climbing and they d...
