Re: Alfa collar malfunction
I’ve used Garminsince the 220 /dc30 came out and have never had a problem with them not tracking and finding my dog. As far as I know, I’ve never had one malfunction and correct the dog on it’s on. I’ve made mistakes and corrected the wrong dog a lot of times. The only other function I find useful ...

Re: Spring Bear Hunting Question
We don't have a spring bear season anymore in New Mexico but when we did it could make for a long days. If you can get on a spring bear in the rough rocky country very soon after he comes out of the den, his pads are still soft and he will get sore footed and stop or climb pretty quick. But let him...

Re: Kidney failure
There's another factor about feed or protein. High protein if too high, can be a contributor but unusable proteins are worse. If the bulk or the main protein source of a feed is unusable then it has to be gotten rid of. It takes things like calcium for the kidney to be able to break down the excess...

Re: Kidney failure
I think those tags and that admire cant be good for them, even tho I'm guilty of using both before. Admire and its predecessors could kill a man or seriously harm if alot was inhaled and those cattle tags we used for ticks are dosed for 1000lb cattle. I try not to use anymore. Cant be good for a 50...

Re: Maybe a dumb question...
It’s give me a feeling of contentment looking across the yard at everything full, healthy, and happy, but I do watch my dogs eat, especially the ones who eat as if they’re starving and a pack of wolves is about to devour their meal, I use this opportunity to put an even better handle on them, it tak...

Re: Keeping My old Hound Comfortable this winter
There’s a plug that’s manufacture with a built in thermostat that will shut itself off at certain temp ranges, might can google and find one that suits your climate and have it in the house behind the light so it shuts light off at specific temp and turns itself back on once the internal temp drops

If you know anyone that works on the pipelines you might can see if they can get you some of that rot shield they wrap the pipe in, I’ve only seen it in yellow color but it makes a great rig Mat and if installed with a little thought can be easily taken off and hoses down...

David, doesn’t sound like a Goose comment. He must have a ghost writer somewhere. Contrary to the popular beliefs of some, ive got waaaaaaaayyy more than a big void in between my ears and can figure out just about anything any other man can do, might not be as good at it but I at least understand t...

Dang Goose. That was some good writing; Every sentence worthy of serious thought. I might have to read that again. I might have to re-think what people tell me about hog hunters. You should have been there when they wrote the Declaration of Independence. I might title your piece “Life, Liber...
