Re: BobCat patterns on a Garmin?
True on that always a good idea to try and get in position to see what your dogs are running, I try and usually succeed with breaking my dogs off deer as pups using old panty hose, frozen torsal glands and a solar fence charger let them break themselves around the barn.

Re: Getting started on coon hunting
Don't worry about coon slayer it's easy to figure out he is an anti hunter that somehow got on the site. I've met houndsmen that had little formal education but never one that was that much of an idiot. Sounds like you're having fun that's all that matters. Keep up the good work on those crossbreds...

Re: BobCat patterns on a Garmin?
Thanks scrub I kinda thought that but it never hurts to get other ideas or opinions from different parts of the country with different terrain, I have hunted quite a bit in South MS and Coastal NC terrain is pretty similar to yours. the terrain here varies quite a bit from river bottoms to rocky hil...

Re: Leopard hound longevity
I have 2 -1/2 leopard x 5/16 bluetick x 3/16 RW and they just turned 7 in Jan and hunt just as hard as they did as pups just they are smarter now imho the leopard brings a lot of good traits to any pack regardless of game hunted.

Re: Cali hogs!
? I am watching a show about COMMIEFORNIA Game Wardens is it legal or illlegal to hunt hogs with dogs or is it only legal in the day time but not at night etc? From my understanding of the show you can shoot them but can not stab them or catch them alive.
