Re: Boots

Wow, thats the first bad review of of Kenny's I've heard. I bought a pair 2 years ago and they are the best boots i have ever owned. I don't just wear them one or two weekends a year either. I put 60 straight days a year on them guiding elk hunts not to mention lion hunts and bear season. I can't wa...

Re: Important - Everyone read!!

Tree huggers and bunny huggers.....they can go kick rocks! As for Fish and Game...I play by the rules and i have nothing to worry about. Id rather do things legally and not have to worry all the time. Not to mention the BIGGEST reason for being legal.....loosing your hunting lic! I can't even imagin...

Re: Pack size for bear hunting

A lot of good questions. Sounds like your youngest dog is 1 1/2 years old and your broke off deer and they have been on a few bear.. so it sounds like they are started in the right direction. Its is deffinetly time to start hunting them as much as possible. You CAN NOT worry about your dogs getting ...

Re: New guy from Idaho

What a crying shame, the 2 pups i kept from last years litter are treeing hard and striking and starting bear with the best of them. I was really looking forward to getting a few mo...

Re: Technology

I paid for my garmin system the first 6 months just in fuel savings alone! We used to spend hours driving roads over and over with that blue box we all remember so well, chasing beeps all over the country. Many times i had dogs lost all night and even weeks. It used to be bear hunting in north Idaho...

Re: Feet problems

Glad to hear it's clearing up.. Bleach would have had her back and going in half the time. But everybody has their opinion. Ask 10 different hound men and you'll get 10 different answers! lol Glad its clearing up.

Re: Tie dogs before shooting

I always tie mine up, no matter what. Especially young dogs, make sure they are tied up just far enough from the tree that whatever your shooting don't land on them. You can ruin a young pup quick if a bear, lion or even a bobcat lands on them.

Re: Garmin Astro Burned up by VHF Marine Radio

I too learned the hard way, lost a lot of collars from my VHF radio while transmitting on 25 watts. We still use the VHF radios all the time, NO MORE THAN 5 WATTS!!!! I have been running my VHF on 5 watts with my Alpha and collars for 2 years now with zero problems. Most VHF radios have a low power ...
