Re: Tieing dogs at the tree
If you have two dogs tied together and one jumps over a larger fallen tree or some other object and the other dog doesn't then you have the potential for getting a dog choked to death. Had a hunting friend have this happen at a bear tree when it was dark, lot of dogs and no one noticed till too late...

Two nuns are ordered to paint a room in the convent, with a warning from the Mother Superior not to get even a drop of paint on their habits. Welcome to Pa.
Walking through his field, an Amish farmer notices a man kneeling down and cupping a hand to drink from the farm pond. The farmer shouts, “Trink das wasser nicht. Die kuhen haben dahin gesheissen.” (Which means: “Don't drink the water, the cows shit in it.”) The kneeling man shouts back, angrily, “I...

Geriatric sex
A Texas couple, both well into their 80s, goes to a sex therapist's office. The doctor asks, "What can I do for you?" The man says, "Will you watch us have sexual intercourse?" The doctor raises both eyebrows, but he is so amazed that such an elderly couple is asking for sexual a...

The couple was 85 years old, and had been married for sixty years. Though not young, they were both in very good health, largely due to the wife's insistence on healthy foods and exercise for the last decade. One day, their good health didn't help when they went on a rare vacation and their plane cr...

Bud, the Montana Cowboy
A cowboy named Bud was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous pasture in Montana when suddenly a brand-new 2018 BMW advanced toward him out of a cloud of dust. The driver, a young man named Cliff in a Brioni® suit, Gucci® shoes, RayBan® sunglasses and YSL® tie, leaned out the window and asked t...

Last Saturday afternoon in Washington, D.C. an aide to Nancy Pelosi visited the Bishop of the Catholic Cathedral in D.C. Re: Plott hound sick
Not trying to be rude about this but if your vet hasn't told you why or what he is treating the dog for then you need another vet. If the dog has been that sick twice in the last two months then something needs to be done that is effective or you could easily have a dead dog and nobody wants to see ...

Re: Pack size for bear hunting
Mr. B, Don't take this as being offensive but think about it and then do as you see fit. If the Grace dog takes off flying and then starts hunting you aren't hunting with her, you are hunting for her. You are a mile away and if she jumps anything you are out of the race. The dog that stays about 500...

Re: Bear Recipes??
Here is one that hasn't failed us yet. Can't be any simpler and has been delicious each time we have used it. Clean your bear roast up, trim off the fat and anything else that doesn't need to be there so it looks nice and clean. Put it in a slow cooker (here is where it seems like this gets crazy bu...
