South Texas hog doggers?

Postby jarlinh » Wed Jan 19, 2011 6:47 pm

Any body here hunt or know anyone hunting from San Antonio to Kingsville TX area? My oldest son has been battling bone cancer this last year and should be done with chemo in April and we were contemplating a celebration hunt. He is 14 and lost his left leg above the knee in October, in November he shot a 5x5 whitetail and a 5x5 bull elk, before he had his prothesis! If anyone here has contacts or hunts the area and can help out with connections for access etc. or even guides who run hogs, we would be very grateful.

Thank you and God bless,
Josh

Check out easttexashogdoggers.com. There are a lot of hog hunters from the area you mentioned on that site and I'm sure some would be more than happy to help. Tell your son to stay positive and keep fighting.

Lot of good people on that forum who would take care of you. Im sure you will have multiple offers from there. I would stay clear and highly reccommend no dealings with Texas boars .com.

Good luck!

you can contact me by email at boarhounds@hotmail.com, my name is Krystal and will be happy to make the contacts and arrangements or check the offers for yourself at ETHD, and respond to those individuals that have volunteered their services.

I live an hour west of San Antonio, I would love to take the young man on a hunt. I will be home from Monday to Sunday this week. If not with me, I can definitely get something done with a buddy of mine.
