Professional Birddog Trainer and Hunting Guide Larry Lowell will be teaming up with Cody Brawley of Brawleys Guide Service for the 2010 California Black Bear Season. Our goal is to provide an exciting hunt that will give the Hunter a hunting experience of a lifetime.
Our Hunts are for 5 days, and range in price from $1500-$2500. The $1500 package is for people that want to take care if their own camping, and food, that are willing to be an active part of the hunt, packing out harvested game, help with the hounds etc... The $2500 package includes lodging, food and all work involved in on harvested game.
If interested in a Hunting experience of a lifetime, hunting behind GREAT Bear Hounds, and enjoying our company at our camp fire. Give me a call at 760-963-9790 or emailme at LowellsGunDogs@yahoo.com
I'm posting a few videos recorded by my partner Cody Brawley of some of our Hounds taking care of some Happy Hunters. I will also add that Brawleys Big Game Hounds are something special. I own two dog from Cody, that are outstanding Bear Dogs born to catch and pressure the meanest bear to tree.

Enough so they can pick the one of there choosing. I have a lot of clients that want a specific size and color. We try our best to do all we can so everyone goes home with exactly what they want. All our hunts also include video of the hunt and pictures.

Re: California Guided Black Bear Hunts
We don't run our clients out of camp. After they harvest their bear they can stay and hunt with us and take pictures and or videos for the rest of there time. We will take a max of four hunters per week, and we expect to catch bears every day. That's not always the case because we are hunting a wild animal, but there will be day we catch zero bears and days we might catch 2, or more. We hunt almost everyday of the season whether we are guiding or training hounds.

Re: California Guided Black Bear Hunts
I'll also add, If anyone is interested in training for your young hounds on bear. Cody and myself have room to run a few extra hounds. Our fee is $500 per month for a max of two months, starting in the middle of October we can run them all until the end of the season once 1700 bears have been harvested. If we can be of any help let us know. We will provide videos of the young hounds performance, as well come on out and check up on your dog and watch his or her progress yourself. If your dog has the ability our dogs can teach them.
