Has any one tried the shorter antenna?

bump....
im wondering the same thing, i would like to go as short as possible on the antenna. during cold trailing these long antennas drag on the ground most of the time

It doesn't matter to me, I've had them both on at the same time and I don't see a huge improvement over the 22.5 antenna' vs. the 18.5 in normal situations.
When we test them the longer ones do track further. however it's not very much to really make me strickly use one over the other. If you don't like the long ones and wouldn't mind sacrificing a little range then run the normal size ones and I don't think you notice allot of difference.
All of the TT10's came with the shorter antenna's and worked really good.
So to answer your question, Yes they work a little better. But not very much.
