Japanese Mini Truck

Postby Sask_matty » Mon Apr 03, 2017 3:49 pm

Hi all,

Have been looking at getting a side x side and came across a gentleman that uses one of these Japanese mini trucks for his ranch. They are narrower than a ranger, and have a larger box, locking diff, 5 speed manual etc. Heat and A/C in the cab and seating for 2. Just wondered if anyone else out there is using one as their hound hunting rig and if they have any advice or experience with these rigs.

Thanks,
Northrunner

Some people don't like the right hand drive which is only way they are made and I have heard the intake is located close to the ground, which in turn is not good at all when you drive on dusty gravel roads.i know someone that used one as a farm rig and it was ready for complete rebuild at 60 thousand miles. I have looked into them quite a bit as a hunting rig and that's what's holding me back. Plus sides is the cheap parts, fuel mileage
