i got a 1year old female and she went to the pen lastweekend for her first ever time. she was playing around near a holding pen there and a yote tryed to bite her through the door and she lost it. after that i walked her into a couple bayups and she was all over putting the mouth down and baying like crazy. the yote brake and she took off an track with the other hounds. i'm very happy with her for a first timer on her yotes. she's not fast enough to keep up with the faster running walkers i have but she will get the job done.

Ok thanks i wasn't sure about there speed. Nobody around me really has them from what ive seen for yotes. They all use them for bear. Maybe a running walker cross? Do they typically have good cold noses? Im looking to get dogs in about a year in half when my living situation allows it and i really like the way they look.

i'm not sure how her nase is yet i havent had her long enough to take her out and try her on the outside nor have we had very good runnig up here this year.even the best dogs are having a hard time on the bare frozen dirt. if you want the speed then get a red and white running walker if you like that color i have 2 red and whites and 1 tri color and then this young english. i myselfr love the dark red blanket backs on some of the walker dogs.
