Crockett bred
Was wondering if anyone knows If there still any crockett breeding around. Heard they were super gritty bear dogs
Re: Crockett bred
There are some. Taylor Crockett lived 45 minutes from me. They are a good tough line but generally don’t have a nose at all. Good luck finding any outside of North Carolina or Tennessee. Only a couple places that have 100% Crockett dogs left
Some people might tell you they have Crockett blood. But it’s probably so far back the traits don’t show. If you want true Crockett dogs get in touch with somebody in western NC or east TN. Even then it’s a long shot.

Thanks for the info. Its good to know that there is a chance there's some of that blood out there. Now just tracking it down .
Re: Crockett bred
Contact outlaw hounds in Tennessee. I believe they are in tellico plains. Chris Henderson might know of some.
