redbones are the real deal

Postby wvreddogs » Thu Feb 06, 2014 3:10 am

id hate to go hunting without a redbone in a pack, the more the better. best breed I ever been around. less slick trees with redbones, and they don't bark in or on the box. seems like that's all them black and white dogs do. told my buddy he need to dye his dog red maybe his dog quit barken in the box, he might even tree something for once too. lol

I am not sure but it sounds like you are trying to start a ruckus. I bet you get one. At least from your buddy if nothing else.

I hunt all them redbones , english , walkers, plotts, have had black and tans and got my first bluetick recently..... my redbones all from different lines "hoffmiester , outlaw, timberchopper" that being said mine are laid back and dont bark alot. My walkers are so full of energy and have ruts dug out from running around all day on the chain. I like both alot if you get a good good walker you would change your mind. If you are bear hunting id hope your not slick treeing lol that being said read up on bloodlines on walkers pick and choose what fits you and train that pup up then you will want them red dogs to have white onthem lol but fromwhat im seeing i like this blue dog very well
Big ridge kennels

its not the dog in the hunt, its the hunt in the dog

You are right and thats the way i did it years ago but i eventually figured out that there were dogs out their with a brain that didnt need that to learn and listen. I wont even get into ol Chiefs fighting abilities (and not with game)
