Re: Finley river vs yadkin river
I haven't had much experiance with close/linebred Finley River, but the dogs that do have some tend to be nice dogs, tough and cold nosed. I've never had luck with the Yadkin River dogs making the kind of dogs I like. That said they tend to be crazy - if you like wired up bear dogs.

Re: Finley river vs yadkin river
i will agree with a touch of crazy with my yadkin dogs . my personnel opinion is that it is a good kind of crazy from my experience . they dont care if they have help ,and run for themselves . they like to lead not follow, and alot make dogs that are the first out of the box for people. there are so many different lines within a line it seems who can say which is better than another for sure . i would give up hounding if i couldnt run the caliber of hounds these yadkin dogs are.ive seen what they can do and wont settle for less on bear.
