latest puppies

Here are a few pictures of my latest group of puppies. They are running walker puppies, or just walker puppies in my neck of the woods, you have to say treeing walker if that what you mean because everyone knows that 'walker' means running dogs here in my part of Va. These are the Four puppies my gyp raised. I havent decided which pair Im going to keep yet. They are around 5 weeks old. I expect alot of that black to fade to red, as alot of dogs out this line start of black and end as red dogs with light black blankets.

That white pup looks awesome. I've never seen an all white walker. Beautiful dogs for sure

Thanks for the compliment, that white puppy is going to have a little lemon/liver color on his ears and a couple spots on his back. I have owned a couple solid white ones that never worked out with my pack of foxdogs. My buddy has one right now that is all white, there is an old guy in mississipi who breeds feild trial dogs for foxes who get mostly all white hounds in all his breeding. Im not a fan of that breeding, but some of the pups out that stock are pretty.I have high hopes for the ones I end up keeping, and high hopes for what I let go too.

Hey Perk, those are some great looking pups ! What are you gonna use them on?

They are hopefully future foxdogs. We use them to run and catch foxes, or run them in a hole/ up a tree. If they cant do that they will be culls i reckon. They wont be gun dogs, as we dont shoot foxes here, that is a unforgivable sin to the guys I hunt with or guys who hunt my style. Should make decent dogs, I run alot of this stock, parents were born deerproof, and alot of dogs in this line are easily broken off of off game.

I saw the pics you posted of your pack in the other forum, I have no doubt your trigg crosses will be better looking than these old plugs I breed/raise. And if they turn out ugly, you know they will be good, God wouldnt punish a dog by making him ugly and worthless. I often pic the ugliest marked pup on purpose. Plus no one steals an ugly dog either!

nice looking pups, my 2 young hounds are lemon and white, i also have a 11 year old half english fox hound @half running walker, she is probably the best coyot @fox hound ill ever own, she can doit all, she is also lemon @white, good luck with your pups
