Washington State Hound Council Event

May 17th & 18th 2014 Jones’ Pond, Matlock, WA
W.S.H.C. RULES APPLY
Bear race & Field trial 60% payout, 60/40 split


Bear Race
$10.00 entry fee*
Bear entries close @ 9:00a.m., race to start @10:00
Track laid with commercial scent, hide in tree
*Auction on bear dogs if time permits
*If Bear Race dogs are not auctioned, owner will pay $3 per dog for auction for a total of 13$,75% payout on Auctions


Field Trial
$8.00 entry fee*
Reentries, time permitting. Finals each day.
*Auctions on Field Trial finals if time permits.
*If Finals dogs are not auctioned, owner will pay $2.00 per dog for auction, 75% payout on Auctions


Treeing Contest
$6.00 entry
Points and payout to top five dogs

Closing of Field and Tree entries will be announced

Directions (from I-5):
1. Take exit 104 to merge onto US-101 N - 19.7 mi
2. Take the exit toward Matlock - 0.3 mi
3. Turn left at W Railroad Ave - 292 ft
4. Continue onto W Shelton Matlock Rd - 15.2 mi
5. Turn right at W Beeville Rd - 2.3 mi
6. Turn left at W Beeville Loop Rd - 1.7 mi
Signs will be out from Matlock Store

Cook Shack and Honey Bucket on premises. Gate opens friday evening.

RULES
1.**ONE DESIGNATED CAMPFIRE AREA NEAR COOKSHACK**please no campfires at any of the camp spots, per land owners request!!
2.Trash cans and honey buckets provided, PLEASE USE THEM
3.Club and Landowner not responsible for loss, theft or injury.
4.illegal substances not allowed. No drugs allowed period!!
5.NO drinking under 21-STRICTLY ENFORCED & No drinking allowed until field marshall declares the last race is over.
6.No one under the age of 18 allowed to camp overnight without a parent in attendance.

OTHA strictly enforces all these rules & has the right to escort you off the property and banning you from future events.
