I would say from that photo those dogs have to be related. Well maybe not yet but if he catches her in a few months they may be. LOL!

Brady, I told you Spider was going to be a moose! That's pretty big for that age.

Mike, full bro and sis. Let's hope they don't tie up!

Yep your right! Sorry about that one.
Your right though, impressive stats.
The are bigger than the one I kept.
Keep up the great work, Brady.

Oh yeh, how long has it been since you saw a tight built biggame hound with ears longer than it's height ?

Yep, all 6 of my GGS's do also and I bet all of Africans do too. Easy on the eyes for sure.

I roaded my dogs with Brady's GGS yesterday. I can't believe their size! At five months they are as big as my mature hounds. Right now they are all legs, skin and ears (of course). They are going to be pretty built when they grow into themselves.

Mine have not yet been involved in a race where game was treed. They have been out coon hunting once but they were kept on a lead while the dogs treed. They sure enough were interested when we shot and creatures fell out of the tree!

I have done about 10 lion trails using Mike Leonards methods and Grawes lion scent. They trail with determination that is second to none. Each time when they got to the tree they both will tree. As of now my female will tree harder. She will stand on a tree bawling and then sit back and bawl. My male circles the tree about 15 feert off the tree bawling. I've never heard either of them chop much. After seeing how they are doing I'm thinking they'll have no problem with treed game, especially when they tree a live animal on their own. I don't think they'll be your competition coon dogs who stand on the tree and try to tear it down but they will surely stay and bawl. As I run live game and trainers I'll keep you posted on how they actually do......

Brady and Steve, Electra is 22 1/2" tall with 23 1/2" ears.
I will start her on cats as soon as the snow depth goes down a little more.
She is wound tight and hell on trainers right now. No more trainers, next move is wild game.
So far 6 out of 8 in this litter is trailing and treeing at 5 months. (Scent Trails and/or Trainers) One of the other 2 may be, but I haven't heard. The other, the owner thinks it is too early to start it.
