Well usually the sorry mutts come out or lay down when theyre done. We very rarely catch them off unless they just for some reason have no clue where it went. Its more of just theyre not in shape. Give it a week or two and it wont be happenin anymore, theyre just fat cuz they aint been hunted since january. Mine has, but most of the other guys havent so we got out ran.

We have a large crew with quite a few dogs. We either pack on or if the dogs running quit in a bad spot find another. 95% of our hunting is on foot not much riggin here so when we go walkin it's usually 5-15 dogs goin with us depending on wat dogs are able to from the day before

Anybody been treein any? We've treed a few so far but most of em in our "traditional hunting grounds" have just been playin Forrest Gump. Running and running and running. Had a few dogs get tore up pretty bad a couple different times. Think it was the same bear every time cuz he ran the exact same way and somebody noticed hes got a bum leg. Could be why he dont take too kindly to gettin run. Been huntin a good bit here around the house which is new to us this year and theyve been fairly easy to tree except the one this mornin that ran I think 10 miles total. All in all been havin pretty good luck this year. Anybody else?
