Ontario bear hunting help

So Ontario has opened up the spring bear unit in all bear hunting units now. Ive got to go 3 hours north or east to get into an open unit. There is the odd bear around home just no season.

Im wondering if anyone here (Canada) runs bears. What I would like to do is tag along, learn the ropes then get a couple bear hounds and hopefully my existing black and tans will run bear, or incorporate the bear dogs into my breeding. I just don't want to buy a bear dog blind.

I won't be a lump in the truck, Ive got my own gear to bring.

Im 1.5 hours from Port Huron Michigan, and 2 hours from Buffalo NY. I know some Americans used to come up around Kingston and hunt on Ontario but that was before the cancelled the spring hunt years ago.
