You looking to bring your own dogs or tag along? I have been looking into myself, they have specific seasons for nonresident dog training if you are looking to just run but if you are looking on killing that I haven't looked to much into what when their seasons are. There is public but not near as much as out west. There is hunting leases in west Virginia and heard those can be touchy and really need to be aware of. So some research into some hunting clubs could help. This should be a interesting thread to watch, I am interested myself to learn more.

Bear everywhere here. You won't have problems finding them, just getting to the tree can be difficult.
