Ha Ha Tobey ! Hey guys, best line of that hunt was after the bear was dead. The hunter was just kind of sitting down looking bored. I said to Tobey," jeez, he doesnt even look excited " Tobey says " well it could be because he was just throwing up behind that tree " I guess he was excited a little !! LOL

The memories keep coming back to me about that B&C bear. The bear died way up in the tree. It was a terrible tree too.Dead limbs the whole way up. We boosted Tobey up as far as we could and he climbed up to the bear and shook him out. I have pictures of the whole event.I will try and get them posted. The last pic shows Tobey reaching up to grab the bear. You cant tell the bear is dead in the photo.I have showed that picture to a hundred people.Told them the bear was alive . Said that Tobey and I had a bet over whether it was a boar or a sow and that he climbed up, grabbed the bears balls, and yelled down " you owe me 50 bucks George '. You should see the looks I get when I tell that story !!!

Funny thing about that little bear Jason. They treed him 6 months later and Tobeys hunter took him.Tobey had the guy convinced it weighed 315 !!!!

I doubt I will be hunting much this year Jason. Would like to get out and see some dogs go at some point though.I did some bird hunting over a couple real good dogs last year.No where near as much fun as hounds but its nice to be able to go home when you want to,not when the dogs do !! Unless you have the kind of hounds that you can call off track or tree from a few miles away,if you know what I mean .
