Big Tom Track

Postby MThound » Thu Apr 21, 2011 12:03 am

Here is a nice tom that I found this year. Not too many good ones like this, these are few and far between. I had a tag for the area, but figured I'd wait until mabey next year.

That is a big lion for sure, not many guys would walk away from the tree with a tag in their pocket.
Good lookin hounds as well, what line of breeding?

That is a sweet cat. My hats off to you my friend on your tree um and free them theory. Not very many of them cats around and definitely not very many hunters with your attitude. Hope you get to see him again. Congrats.

My little female is Trackdown bred. My male has a lot of Duncan lineage and some McDonald lineage. Very good reliable dog. I enjoy the sport of catch and release. It is always fun to know what you left to run another day.

He doesn't mention that he treed it twice, over a three week period... lucky his ol' cuz'n Casey was at work or there might have been some lead flying. Can't wait to put the hustle on this cat next winter, we found another one in the same size/class...
