I have not hunted the Pinenuts for a couple of years . There were a lot of bears in that country then. I'm. Sure the numbers have increased

Seems that way, only a few cat tracks. Really like that country. Met a guy who's been living out there for 20 years in a shack. Nice guy, he pointed me in the right direction and i have a deer tag in that area this year too! Planning on pickin his brain alot!

Never hunted down south, mainly running close to home. Caught a lion in a bobcat set last season and that wasn't a mile or so from homes. Saw 6 different sets of tracks around my bobcat sets last year so I've got em in my backyard. And season is year round 2 tags per person.

right on, i havent found any lion tracks since it got hot either, still go out atleast once a week for a full day, put 100 miles on my fourwheeler the other day and ended up finding some coon tracks so i went back out over night and treed five coons on a rock pile and seen two other coons that i didnt turn out on on my way out, weird thing is i never find coons especially where this was.
