Dogs piss on coyote tracks eat cat turds. Run trash 300 yards tops with not the same tone as a cat more deep a growly. Almost always run a snow track backwards to start, and I let them because they always turn around and figure it out. Can tell a lion or cat race by the sound as well as cold trailing, hot trailing, jumped, treed or if my dog sees it. Have a year old pup bluetick different breeding mostly Cameron just started to hunt instead of puping around and I have know idea what she's doing besides striking. She will strike off the hood at almost anything and it sounds like she got stepped on. Just saying how are you going to know your dogs having someone else train them?

You’re welcome To bring them down this spring and do a week long hunt or leave them with me for a month or so it would be on coons but the transition to lions is easy after they know how to hunt

There are no short cuts in training a hound. Just a lot of hours and foot miles with your dogs. Looking back after many years you will see you were the most important one that was learning not your dogs. Dewey

I know of one guy that sent 2 young dogs away for training and when he got them back they were very thin and one ended up dying within a week. Guess that guy didn't feed them too well... Anyhow what part of AZ do you hunt?
