This was a hunt that we had on one of the hottest days we have had this year so far. Got up early beat the heat and got the game caught. Dropped 2 of my young dogs that morning bayed first creek hog in bed, caught him, dogs relayed came across a field my cousins dumped some of my pups on second hog with my old dogs. Hog was caught like a half a mile later. All I had was my puppy bulldog at the moment, so we didn’t wait. We headed into the bay. Sent him from 60 yards, he had only seen 2 hogs before this. He went and got the job done like he had done it hundreds of times. A hunt I will never forget and the future is looking bright for Pearl River Plotts!
