They are good my brother has had one for a couple years now no complaint so far

Ya I have no real complaints about it. The only thing I will say is there not an aluminium box, there really a wood box that is just wrapped in a thin sheet of aluminium, so it's on the heavier side if comparing to aluminium boxes. When I feel it's time for a new box I will be making one that is almost a exact copy of the one I got just all out of aluminium.

The ones I have seen look pretty flimsy and I don't think they would hold up to serious abuse...plus the way the are built, you get a really small rig deck.

I've seen a fewvbreak welds fairly quickly. That's hunting pretty rocky country so constant bouncing abuse

you get what you pay for, most of the mass produced boxes are good for the average weekend worrier for a few years. they are not designed for heavy abuse/use like full welded alum boxes.

Bought mine in 2010, still using it. It's been used and abused. Hasn't held up the best, I like it. Honestly a strong built aluminum box is better in my opinion of spending that type of money.
