New from NC

Postby LaurelBustinPlotts » Mon Feb 13, 2017 7:03 pm

Hello everybody, I've been around hounds my entire life. I've coon hunted since I was little and just started bear hunting about 3 years ago. I hunt in the mountains of Western North Carolina and I hunt with plotts. My dad has bear hunted for most of his life and through it he's gotten to meet some outstanding and well known plott breed icons. I still think I'm rather new to bear hunting with hounds and I still have a lot to learn.

SASS - Weems and Gantte. Our best plott is a gyp we got from a friend who got her from her uncle Ronnie Bateman. Almost if not all of his dogs are closely bred with the famous plottmen Ira Jones and Roy Clark's (Laurel Mountain Plotts) stocks. The plott I own is Crockett and Pocahontas bred. I received him from Jason Bickford in East, TN.
