New to hounds and cat hunting but I have some buddies with proven dogs to help straighten out the learning curve a bit.
I have a young male and female that are litter mates from an old houndsman out of Utah (Max Otten). I am told the line is heavily influenced by "Nance" bred dogs but I am pretty ignorant on bloodlines. My buddies have had great success with Max's dogs so my fingers are crossed.
Looking forward to learning more. Has been a fun ride so far!

Re: Late to the game...
Hey welcome Med river, never too late for this game, hope to be following these dogs when I'm 93. Fairly new myself and I'm in my 60's. You have some good looking dogs there and sure have us wondering what you've got treed in that big cottonwood. Also nice to have good friends to hunt with. All the best, Tom Griffith- lynx chaser, seldom treed..

Thanks Tom!
That was from this summer when I had released some coon for them.
