You guys are limited to cage traps only correct? Lots of guys doing pretty good with cage traps on bobcats, otter, muskrats and beaver.

Camtrip makes excellent live traps and they stack real well so you can haul a pretty good bunch of them. I am really interested in double door cage traps I have seen some that are made by a guy in Maybell, Colorado and they probably have the highest catch percentage of any model. There are some bugs in them but I hear they are working them out and I believe Camtrip is also working on a double door model.
Cats just seem to be less wary if they can see all the way thru.

Can't use snares in CA and cannot trap Bobcats at all.

I know they arent legal. Thats why I made the statement that snares wouldve been useful. Sucks more because I have learn on my own for both trapping and hound hunting. Thats why this community is going downhill, everyone is out for themselves and could care less about the next generation .
