Vet payment options

Postby Unreal_tk » Wed Feb 04, 2015 3:45 am

I just forgot about this til now. If you get the need to visit a vet and can't pay for it in full at the time. Look into a option called Care Credit. I haven't needed to use it but I thought I'd put that out there for folks to know about. A lot of vets will accept it. You can get 0 interest if you charge above the required amount and pay it in full in 12 months or 6 months depending on the vet. I have used this for my personal doctor bills time to time.

Do you know if this service is provided in Canada?
Sounds like a good concept.

Hey Thomas that is good info I have had care credit for years and most vets take it and you can even use it for your own care but you have to ask the vet to extend out the no interest option or it will only hold off interest for 30 days I have had to rebuild a couple dogs and never would of been able to do it without care credit :beer

I have used care credit. Saved a few dogs with it and a few of my teeth also. Dentist will accept it too....

Every time i go to the vet there is a steady line of mange, flea, tick, lick sores, hot spots, obese, eyes matted shut and in general just plain miserable looking dogs and cats. Nobody seems to want to do anything about that kind of treatment to pets. Im lucky to have a good ol country vet that understands working dogs.
