Stock rack with dog boxes

Postby Vicks_PeakGS » Tue Dec 22, 2020 11:33 pm

Anyone know of any companies out there making stock racks any more? Or If there are any individuals out there with experience making any I’d really like to get one built for 1 mule and 5-10 dogs. Maybe someone out there has one the may be willing to sell.
Thanks. Merry Christmas.

The last time I researched this same topic, the answer I came up with was to go to a local horse trailer manufacturer and try to talk them into building one. They didn’t have anything like that in their lineup, it would be a completely custom build.

A few treated 2x4 and a couple of 2x4 horse panels and about 2 hrs work and you should be good to go. I don’t think you would be hauling a wild mustang, just a good trail horse or mule.

I don't know where you're at but if you go to a welding shop a lot of times they can build it up for you take them a picture with dimensions and measurements. I built one several years ago that would hold 10 plus dogs and two mules in the back of a long bed Dodge.
