I've got a dog out of Jeff's stuff and he's extremely smart as well, easiest starting dog I've owned. Everything was just natural for him absolutely no help needed, just took him to the woods and he went and treed cats

I’m hoping Stormy does the same. I just need to get her out and hunt. As soon as it cools off again.

Let my female that had pups 4 weeks ago out to run around and get away from the pups for a bit. About 10 minutes later I hear her open and I look across the field and she has a house cat treed on the neighbors loafing shed!

So I’m at work today. My firefighters and I went out for a hike. On our way back into the fire station, I found a set of lion tracks and a scrape on top of our tracks.

Go get them potlickers and get after it!! I was hiking a closed road around 9am one day looking for lion tracks, I went as far as I planned to go and turned around without finding anything. About a minute back down my own tracks I look down and there's lion tracks in my boot tracks. I get back to the truck and tell my mentor what happened and he bitched at me the entire hike in with the dogs that I had missed the track and need to pay more attention. We get to where the cat started stocking me and he hurriedly shut up and goes...I'LL BE DAMNED Lol

Not your kinda of hunting, but me and the nephew made a quick hunt yesterday. Dumped out at daylight and our Cat/Walker crosses went NE with the wind like they were on a mission. About 350 yards up there, they took a left headed NW and when I say it looked like they were shot out of a cannon, I mean they were taking it as hard as they could go. It was awesome watching. 800+ yards later they were bayed. We sent the catch dog and the boar, about 200#, went out the back door as the bulldog came through the front door. Didn’t do him any good. The dogs had him caught in about 30-40 yards. Walked up and the catch dogs was eared up and the hog was literally sitting on his pride and joy. We went and cast once more and they found another smaller boar and we made short work of him and loaded the dogs. It was mucho hot and humid.

That’s good stuff! I hunted hogs for 15 years, until I moved to Nv. I miss it. It was nice to be able to go out and have a hog or two caught in a hour. Now I go out and hunt for a week or more without getting the dogs on a track.

Got one little bear treed this morning and had a running fight with another for about 30 min. Luckily we had the right group of guys to get it in the swap and get dogs caught. Lots of injured dogs but only 1 moderately serious

Those bad ones need to be removed from the population. Glad to hear they’re good for the most part. Hope the other makes a full recovery!

We got on a big boar last Saturday. That wouldn’t climb walked him for 6 hours. My lead dog ended up with 3 holes and a ripped muscle in her ribs. Few other dogs got a few holes, one dog ended up with broken ribs. Our bear season comes in tmw for 10 days
