I have some other pics I will get up. I mostly squirrel hunt them but I coon hunt them during the week it gets dark early and no sense letting dogs sit in the kennel!

That's awesome! That's one heck of a haul on coon. Those are big furred up coons! I love seeing people catch game with dogs other than hounds, I love hounds personally, but it's cool to see there is others ways to do it. Nice job, and keep it up!

Laikas are aboriginal hunting dogs from Siberia. They will hunt what ever game you choose to hunt. Over in Sweden the do a lot of moose and boar hunting. They are very natural tree dogs and they typically start treeing early. I mainly squirrel and coon hunt them but mine flush and hunt game birds as well. If the game bird goes to a tree they tree them. I own three one from America and two imports. One is imported from the Ukraine and the other from Siberia. I just enjoy them and they are not for everyone they do not pack well but will hunt in breeding pairs or their own laikas from the home. Terrible kennel dogs and prefer to be near their owner. Here is a pick of my young male from Siberian. He is starting to make a dog he is eleven months.
A nice moose a Laika bayed up in Sweden.

This link has a lot of details on laikas if you want to know more.

Dpetty is right. They'll hunt whatever you want them to. They're fast and agile hunter's. I walk hunt mine mostly but they're road hunting machines. They'll even rig off the box. I squirrel and coon hunt mostly but will bring home some partridge and a couple of pheasant. They're quick and smart and just love to hunt. Also their thick hair does great in the north during the cold winter.
Keep up the good work buddy!

I love my coon hounds to but I would wonder if they have any thing to bring that a hound would not heard of them a few times just don't know anything about them
