I usually get one from town thats eatin somebody's cat food. Call around and somebody's bound to have one in their back yard to get rid of.

Were having a bad year finding coons to. Just be carefull taking coons from town people in oregon don't like it much. Try using jumbo marshmellows in your live trap and putting straw in the bottom.find some one you trust in town to catch them for you.hope that helps

I am having a hard time too. But our coons aren't moving much right now. I have been using C.O.B or a sweet mix grain for horses. a 50# bag for us is around $10. Even with them moving slow I am still catching a few boars.

hey, im not pissed by any means i invited the guy to go hunting with me. being from Oregon we get enough shit just for running dogs and if we want to keep hunting coons and bobcats we need to be really careful and obey the laws theres other ways of getting a pup or young dog started.

Here in Montana the coon hunting is tuff right now been out twice this week and no coons yet. I don't think there moving at all it needs to warm up or get cold so we can chase bobcats. I had the old dog and the pup out tonight but nothing I guess we will just keep trying the coons will come out one of these days.

Same here in wyoming I haven't seen a coon track for quite awhile. Last few days were nice and worm but still no movement. I am new to dogs and haven't hunted my place but just a few times, but I think the word got out and the coons are scared. It has nothing to do with the weather or time of year. LOL

I live in lebanon and nows the best time to go coon hunting there breeding and there guard hair is as long as its going to get so they'll throw the maximum scent off when they travel just call if you want to go out ive got a 2 month old puppy im working with right now. Heath 541-979-4778.

yes hes following me into the tree, staying at the tree with the dogs bitting at the coon when i shoot it out and i even had him barking at one we put in the culvert the other night its never to early to start a pup. he already knows the regular stuff when a let him off his chain he goes right to the pickup wanting to load. hes got the general stuff down if a dogs not showing any thing by the time hes 6months to a year and youve been taking him hunting bye bye dog.
