Dave's work could be called a documentary of the current state of the sport.
We should never let the pioneers of cat hunting be forgotten.
Their line's strengths and successful local practices should be documented.
Thanks Dave...

The book "BOBCAT DOG; Bobcat Hunting Principles Guidance and Inspiration" (By David Peightal) is finally ready. Non-bobcat hunters seem to be enjoying it as much as bobcat hunters of every skill level. It is 400 pages laminated soft cover. $29.95 postage paid in the U.S. Canadian orders add $10.00. I have quietly watched from the sidelines for around a year here but after receiving David's book i can't pass up the chance to compliment his work yet again! I wrote him a nice email already but wanted to share the events that led up to me getting his book
Following the instructions from the publisher I emailed them to be put on "the list" but didn't send payment. They sent the book anyway! I had a mild panic attack bring indebted to someone I didn't even know but promptly sent my check! I could go on about how wonderful the book is but ill let those who haven't had a chance to read it, do so great work David. Follow hard

I'm halfway thru David's book and I've already got double my moneys worth. I can well understand why John Wick read it 3 times.
I ordered a extra for a Christmas gift and I know it will be treasured by the houndsman who gets it.
Its way overdue that a book like this is written about these elite dogs and the bobcats they follow ( & hopefully catch).Very cool to get some insight on some of the great houndsmen who train & run these dogs.
Thanks David and Merry Christmas.

I know this thread is from a whole back but I would like to get my hands on a copy, no one seems to have a copy in stock. Anyone know where I can get a copy?

It is out of print and a couple hundred bucks if you find a used one online. Hopefully they reprint it soon.

Great book with a lot of real useful information.. I find myself going through it over and over again .. Thanks David
