Oregon-Washington coast type dog box

Postby Msbobcat » Sat Sep 24, 2016 9:07 pm

Hey guys, what kind of aluminum boxes are you Oregon coast guys using? I need to have someone build me a box in Oregon that will keep the rain from getting in, I saw a picture a few years ago here where the guy used round plastic screw on boat style hatches that were big enough for the dogs head but then you could screw them in when it's raining, can anyone steer me the right direction on design and someone in the northwest to build it as I will be spending some time in Oregon next month. Ps it's gonna be for a Toyota Tacoma Thank you

Might want to contact Brian J Cerelli, Brain post on this forum at times. There is another hunter named Zip Fendrich, Zip has built some of the nicest boxes I have ever seen. Not sure if Zip still builds those dog boxes. Good luck Al

A minimum of 6" over hang on the top will keep 99% of the weather out.

Mark, can you post a picture of your box? I guess to get a six inch overhang a guy has to build the box strait up from the inside of wheel wells .

Just get ahold of brian cerelli. He can build exactly what you want and will last a lifetime. Plus they look super sharp when done.
