Re: International Bobcat Contest
That is an incredible picture of that bayup. Would love to hunt bobcats that bayup like that. Our cats just scamper up trees around here. One of these days I will find the time to travel and hunt different cats in different areas.
Re: International Bobcat Contest
They bayed this one this morning 400 yards from where I turned em out, less than ten minutes. I found that track at 6 turned loose at 8 honestly they were not off the hook 10 minutes and had him stuck. He was pretty rough on the little brindle so not much footage

Bon Plott,
What and where did that English dog come out of? Good looking plotts as well. Right now I have one brindle dog and an English that is identical to the one running with you. Thanks

Re: International Bobcat Contest
Well it's the last day of bobcat season here in Colorado. And I cannot believe that I did not kill a cat the whole month of February. Our weather was very unseasonably warm here . So I didn't get out as many days as I normally would. I did Chase quite a few the last week here and they all schooled me. The cat I chased tonight did figure eights and circles . And I really thought we had the pressure on him but he got away. This whole season has been a little rough for me normally put up quite a few more cats. But let me tell you my hounds are really rocking and rolling. Congratulations Bon on them big cats you caught!! I didn't even have one close to that Size .

Re: International Bobcat Contest
Thank you all for your entries and participation! I think most of you understand our hound clubs mission. We give back to those who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms so we can be free to do as we wish. Without a doubt, we live in the greatest country in the world!
Most of the participants over the last three months have donated their winnings back to our Fern Ridge Tree Hound Club. I posted a testimonial from one of our recent hunts sent to our hound club by one of our Nation's hero's, Ramiro Flores and what the December bobcat hunt meant to him. Your donations assist in our continued outdoor adventures.
FRTHC is about to become a non-profit charity! We have been working on this for over a year and just about complete.
Thanks again for all your support!
