This is a Citizens petition up for adoption by the Colorado wildlife commission to stop all take of bobcat in the state of Colorado in the name of wildlife viewing which the anti's claim brings in more revenue than hunting does. It is being introduced by a Vet From Telluride who advises HSUS on the iditarod. with 4 new commissioners on the board this year, a new Governor taking seat, and 2 more commissioners limiting out this summer, this is the first testing of the waters by the Anti fur people.

This is a link to send an email directly to the commissioners to express your position as a sportsmen/woman houndsmen. this will be one of the first items discussed for adoption in the January meeting in 2019. I urge you to send an email to the commissioners if you have ever hunted or plan on hunting bobcats in Colorado.

Wildlife viewing?!?! Try to get some stats on how many people in Colorado go out bobcat watching.
If ten people say they watch bobcats every year, nine of them are lying; well, they probably all are lying.

It is one of the more ridiculous things I have ever heard. You can tell, these people don’t even go outside.

If you read the report. They're claiming tourist are the alleged watchers/source of income. The author is ultimately trying to ride the plight of the canadian lynx to victory on this. Citing the bycatch of lynx as a reason to stop bobcat hunting/trapping. Hes just using examples of animal watching in parks as sources of revenue.

Go on the offense. The sportsman's alliance should sue HSUS for fraud. It's a little embarasing that they haven't already.
