A BIG thanks to our auctioneer Shorty. He did a great job on the calcutta for us.

Here's the top ten finalists before the final race.

Release the hounds!!!

Another BIG thanks to Adam for laying the final drag for us.I was being a baby and couldnt have done it... .

Lil girl and her owner Bill. She got second line and 1st tree making her our champion.

Kenny and his dog. This beutiful walker dog got 1st line and second tree. They said he looked up the tree and just missed beating Lil girl.

We had 77 entries but there was more in camp too. There was roughly 60-70 people over the weekend. Marcial may have a better count.
I'm figuring we will need to split the races into 2 days next year.It was alot of work and rushing to try to do all the heats and final in one day.We will be making changes to the judging and move more dogs on to semi finals from the heats next year.We are still learning, but we intend to keep it focused on the hunters and hunting dogs with realistic drags in the same terrain you would normally hunt lions in.
We had a lot of raffle prizes this year and gave away a custom aluminum dog box (of the winners design).

It was a fun time. I still haven't been able to get all the pictures off my camera yet, and just got all the results written down into a readable form. The total was 68 dogs entered including the re-entry, which had two more dogs than entered the normal heats.

Hopefully I can get everything posted here in the next few days, it will just take a little bit.
